Port Forwarding

• To enable access to the controller over the internet, NAT or Network Address Translation must be set up on the router

  NAT may be referred to as port forwarding or Virtual Server depending on your router

• In this example, the router is set up to forward inbound requests on port 10000 to port 80 of the controller
• Entering the url http://203.97.123.123:10000 in a remote web browser would connect the browser to the controller over the internet
