Module Wiring - Oscilloscope View

Using an Oscilloscope shows the results of Spur or Star wiring

  • The waveform on the left is from a network with multiple spurs. Out of phase messages that bounce throughout the network create noise and make it difficult to pick out the highs and lows that make up the data signal.
  • The waveform on the right is from a network that is wired and terminated correctly. As you can see, the data signal is clearly visible.
