Backup Battery
- When powering a module network, it is important to have a backup battery connected to the power supply
- A
backup battery assists the power supply by offering additional current
when required (if a lock is faulty or a short is created across a device
within the network)
- It also conditions the power supply by filtering its output
When
linking a battery and a PSU, it does not matter what order the battery
and the AC are connected, but the AC must be connected for the PSU to be
powered.
