Outputs

If readers are not attached to the reader ports then the Reader 1 L1 and BZ, and the Reader 2 L1 and BZ outputs can be used as general purpose outputs. These can be controlled by assigning the RDxxxGreen R1, RDxxx Beeper R1, RDxxxGreen R2 and RDxxx Beeper R2 outputs of whichever reader module has been configured as the onboard reader module. These are open drain outputs which switch to the V- reference. This is only relevant to the PRT-WX-DIN controller.

Warning: The reader outputs can switch to a maximum capacity of 50mA. Exceeding this amount will damage the output.
