Telephone Dialer

The PRT-WX-DIN provides the ability to communicate alarms and upload information to remote systems using the onboard 2400bps modem. If using Contact ID to provide offsite alarm monitoring,you can connect the telephone line directly to the Controller using the onboard telephone connection terminals.

Phone lines are notorious for creating a path for lightning strikes. If a phone line is connected, you must always connect the earth terminal to a frame ground.
