The Expanders Wizard

When using PCB modules with Protege WX, running them through the wizard requires a few extra steps.

  1. Set DIP switch 7 ON for each PCB module then restart
  2. The module(s) should now come up in ‘3 flash mode’
  3. Navigate to Expanders | Expander Addressing
  4. As the address may be out of range, manually set the address using the DIP Switch. Refresh the page.
  5. Run the Expanders Wizard and from Step 3, click Save and Return to Menu
  6. Before you are returned to the home page you can program the module. When prompted, select the module and click OK.
  7. The programming will be updated and you will be returned to the home page.
