The Expanders Wizard

If a module has been registered previously, the address is not out of range and the wizard cannot add and link the associated inputs, outputs, and trouble inputs. Rather than having to add these manually, it is easier to unregister the module before using the wizard.

• Navigate to Expanders | Expander Addressing

• Change the Address to Not Set then press Save
• The Status indicator begins flashing rapidly as the unit attempts to register with the Controller. After a few seconds this should change and the Fault light will come on and the Status light will start flashing three times in quick succession.

  Note that this commonly occurs when a system is programmed, then the Controller is defaulted. If the wizard is to be run again, this procedure must be carried out first.
