Door Processing: REX

If you open the Input 2 for the reader, the input LED on the Controller changes to red and the input status changes to open, but the lock output does not change state

Close the input again and you will see an Unlocked by REX event, followed by the lock output cycling for 5 seconds:

• REX inputs are inverted by default. This is because many push buttons only have NO (normally open) contacts which close when the button is pressed,
• Inputs 2 and 6 are configured by default as the REX (Request to Exit) inputs for the doors associated with a Reader Expander
