Configuring the Contact ID Service : General

Select the General tab:
- The Client Code (or account number) should be supplied by the monitoring station and is used to identify the system when a report is generated
- If
the Controller must dial a number to gain an outside line (for
instance, 1 or 9), create a separate phone number, then select it as the
PABX Number.
- Phone Number 1
defines the primary phone number of the monitoring station to be dialed
by the service when it first is initiated to report an event
- Phone Number 2
defines an alternative number to be dialed if the primary phone number -
and backup phone number if the Use Alternate Dialing Method is enabled -
cannot be reached. More on this shortly.
- Phone Backup
defines the number to be dialed if a connection to the monitoring
station cannot be made on the Primary number. In many cases, this will
be an alternative monitoring station.
