Report IP Service

The most commonly used settings are generally configured using the Security Wizard. This includes:

• The Client Code that is used to identify the system to the remote monitoring company when a report is generated
• The Primary IP address and an optional backup that will be used to connect to the monitoring station to report an event
• The Reporting Protocol to be used, and (if applicable) the encryption level and encryption key to be used
• The Poll Time that sets the frequency at which the service checks for events

Further settings, such as defining a backup service, can be configured later if required.
