Required Hardware: Destination Reporting

To implement elevator control with destination reporting, you'll need a WX Controller and:

  • One card reader and reader port for each elevator car. You can use the Controller's onboard reader ports, or use a PRT‑RDM2‑DIN Reader Expander.
  • One Form C relay output for each controlled floor, per elevator car. You can use the Controller's onboard relays, a PRT‑RDM2‑DIN, a PRT‑PX8‑DIN, or a PRT‑IO84‑DIN.
  • One input for each controlled floor, per elevator car

Any system input can be used for destination reporting, however the PRT‑ISO16‑DIN module has been specifically designed for this purpose. Each input is optically isolated and looks for a voltage between 12V and 230V AC or DC rather than an EOL resistor. Standard inputs should only be used if clean contacts are supplied by the elevator control system.
