Adding the Additional Expander Modules

Connect the additional modules then:

• Navigate to Wizards | Expanders Wizard and add the modules to the system
• Make sure to rename the modules for easy identification. In this case, we'll use:
  • Office Elevators and Service Elevator (for the RDM2 units)
  • Office Elevator Outputs and Service Elevator Outputs (for the PX8 units)
  • Destination Reporting (for the ISO16)

  This ensures that all the associated inputs, outputs, and trouble inputs that are added by the wizard, will have the module name appended to them, making it easier to identify their purpose

If you don't have the hardware available and want to follow the training exercise, skip to step 3 of the Expanders Wizard and add them as additional modules. This allows you to complete the programming, without physically connecting the hardware.
