The Protege WX system offers flexibility in programming not found in many other products.

• Integral to this flexibility is the use of outputs. While outputs can be used to control physical devices, they can also be used to effectively store information, such as the state of an area or schedule.
• Using Programmable Functions, this information can be combined and used to make decisions that can result in the control of physical devices and changes in system behavior.
