Creating Virtual Outputs

To demonstrate this, we're going to create some virtual outputs.

• Navigate to Programming | Outputs.
• Click Add.
• Name the output Virtual Output 1.
• Set the Module Type to Output (PX).
• Select an address of a device that is unlikely to be physically connected to the system in the future.

Typically, this would be on the last Output Expander, however, other expander types also allow outputs to be added and programmed.
