Follow and Test Modes
- Follow and Test function modes continually evaluate the state of a single output and as a result can control another output.
- These modes are not edge triggered, they are processed and updated constantly by the controller.
- Follow
and Test modes should only be used if the programmable function is to
have sole control of the output as any manual or system functions will
be overridden by the function.
- For example,
if a schedule and a programmable function are programmed to control the
same door, the system could potentially get into a position where one
wants to turn the output on and the other wants to turn the output off.
