Migration

• Using dual technology ICT Secured Mifare or DESfire Proximity ISO Cards that incorporate both high and low frequency card inlays, readers can be changed one by one
• New dual technology cards are then issued to those users that require access to door with the upgraded readers

  For instance, readers controlling access to high security rooms such as the server room could be upgraded to DESfire. Only IT staff requiring access to the server room would require the dual technology cards, allowing them to access both the low security 125kHz doors and the high security DESfire secured doors.
