Another option for migration is to upgrade readers to combo readers that will read both card technologies.

• This allows the gradual replacement of users cards to ICT Secured Mifare or DESfire.
• Both technologies will be accepted by combo readers.
• Once all users have new cards, the low security 125kHz option can be turned off at the reader
• This is also a good option for common areas of a multi-tenanted building, allowing tenants to choose either technology for their own fit out.
