Menu Groups

The final thing we need to configure is Menu Groups. Menu groups control access to keypads. They define what a user can do at a keypad, but not which areas the user has access to. Navigate to Programming | Menu Groups

You'll find there are three default menu groups with varying levels of control. For training purposes, we want to add a new menu group called Staff.

Operating Schedule: Determines when the menu group is valid.

Secondary Menu Group: The schedule to be used when the operating schedule is invalid.
