Contact ID Service

Basic configuration of the Contact ID service is carried out using the Security Wizard. This includes:

• The primary phone number that will be dialed by the service when it first is initiated to report an event
• An optional backup phone number that will be dialed if a connection with the central station cannot be made
• The client code that is used to identify the system to the remote monitoring company when a report is generated

Further settings, such as defining a secondary phone number, can be configured separately as required.
