Making Sense of the Phone Numbers

Most monitoring stations have several phone lines that can be used for reporting
- When configuring the
Contact ID Service, you can assign up to 3 phone numbers. In many cases,
one of these numbers will be for an alternative monitoring station.
- The sequence that these numbers are dialed, depends on the dialing method used.
- Each
phone number can also have an operating schedule and a different
(secondary) number can be programmed for when the schedule isn't valid.
- This
allows you to report messages to one telephone number or monitoring
station during a normal day (8am to 5pm), and to report them to another
location outside of these hours.
