Scenario

For this scenario we're going to use the main entry to the building to arm, disarm and display the status of an area, whilst maintaining its core access control functionality.

• When the building's alarm system is armed, reader LED will flash (to indicate the armed status) and the user will be required to present their card and enter their PIN to gain access to the building. Doing this automatically disarms the building's alarm system and unlocks the door.
• When the building alarm system is disarmed, the user is only required to present their card.
• When the last person leaves at night, they can arm the building's alarm system by double badging at the card reader.
