Area Control

When setting up an Area Control function there are three fields that must be filled in order for the function to operate correctly.

  • Area Function Mode: The function mode determines what action is performed on the area/area group that is programmed as a result of the output state. An area function mode MUST be set for the programmable function to operate correctly.
  • Output to Check: Selects the output that controls the area/area group. All area functions use at least one output.
  • Area/Area Group to Control: Either a single area or an area group can be controlled by the output. Selecting both an area and an area group results in only the area being controlled and the area group being ignored.
