Follow and Test Modes

Areas can be programmed to arm or disarm based on the current state of the checked output.

• Follow and Test function modes continually evaluate the state of a single output and as a result can control an area or area group.
• These modes are not edge triggered, they are processed and updated constantly by the controller.
• Follow and Test modes should only be used if the programmable function is to have sole control of the area as any manual or system functions will be overridden by the function.
• For example, if a schedule and a programmable function are programmed to control the same area, the system could potentially get into a position where one wants to arm the area and the other wants to disarm the area.
