Follow and Test Modes

Doors can be programmed to lock, unlock or lockdown based on the current state of the checked output.

• Follow and Test function modes continually evaluates the state of a single output and as a result can control a door or door group
• These modes are not edge triggered, they are processed and updated constantly by the controller
• Follow and Test modes should only be used if the programmable function is to have sole control of the door as any manual or system functions will be overridden by the function
• For example, if a schedule and a programmable function are programmed to control the same door, the system could potentially get into a position where one wants to unlock the door and the other wants to lock the door
