Elevator Control

When setting up an Elevator Control function there are six fields that must be filled in order for the function to operate correctly.

  • Elevator Function Mode: Determines how the function will react to the checked output changing state (Follow or Edge triggered, normal or inverted).
  • Elevator Control Mode: The control mode selects how the elevator and floor groups will be controlled. This allows the floors to be unlocked for the token time, unlock latched or unlocked in the fire alarm mode.
  • Output to Check: Defines the output that is used to control the programmable function.
  • Elevator Group: Defines the elevators to control as a result of the selected function.
  • Floor Group: Defines the floors tobe activated on all of the elevators in the elevator group as a result of the selected function.
  • Token Time: The period of time the floor group is activated for (required for edge triggered Function Modes).

This lesson covers the Elevator Function Modes and the Elevator Control Modes
