Follow and Test Function Modes

Floors can be programmed to lock or unlock based on the current state of the checked output.

• Follow and Test function modes continually evaluate the state of a single output and as a result can control a floor or floors across one or more elevators.
• These modes are not edge triggered, they are processed and updated constantly by the controller.
• Follow and Test modes should only be used if the programmable function is to have sole control of the floor as any manual or system functions are overridden by the function.

  For example, if a schedule and a programmable function are programmed to control the same floor, the system could potentially get into a position where one wants to unlock the floor and the other wants to lock the floor.
