Communication Failure

If the Output Expander loses contact with the Elevator Controller it will result in a communication failure. In this situation you may want to allow or prevent access to a floor.

This can be configured from the Protege WX interface

• Navigate to Programming | Outputs and select the Floor Relay Output you want to program
• Click the Options tab
• Enable the Preset Module Offline option
• If you want to allow access to the floor during a communication failure, enable the Output Turns On When Module Offline option.

  If you want to prevent access to the floor during a communication failure, disable this option.

  This can be programmed for all Relay Outputs being used to control access to a floor from an Elevator Car.
